This past summer, our dairy farm has been plagued with extreme heat and drought, devastating our hay crop.  Hay that we put up in May and June had to be fed in July and August to meet our dairy cows nutritional and diet needs.  To have such limited winter forage sets us up for a challenging, difficult winter.
